Haul: Old Navy, Forever 21, Tobi, Victoria's Secret

Jun 18, 2013

Hi all! :) I recently placed orders with Old Navy, Forever 21, Tobi, and Victoria's Secret that included pants, dresses, and bikinis. Look under the cut for more pictures!
Old Navy
(picture coming soon)
I bought two pairs of pants from Old Navy, but only one's featured here because I've already returned the other pair. These are the Rockstar Mid-Rise Super Skinny Jeans in black. I have two other pairs of Rockstars Low-Rise in a size 2 petite, but the mid-rise fit just right in a size 0 regular. They are the perfect pair of basic pants for me because they're black and hit me just at the ankles (I'm 5'0 for reference)!
I was really impressed with Old Navy's shipment speed this time, I chose the free 7-9 business day shipping and the first pair arrived within two days, the second within the same week.

Forever 21
This is a super cute lace bra for just under $8.00! I was worried they were going to package it poorly (as they normally do with their lingerie and bikini tops), but this came in good condition. There was a bit of folding of the padding inside the bra, but it didn't affect the shape. The site claims the bra adds two cups, but they do nothing for me. I'm keeping it regardless because it looks cute! The piece behind it is a basic nude slip that I plan on wearing under dresses or by itself with something layered over. It hits me mid-thigh.

Tobi
Tobi is a site similar to Hautelook, and in case you aren't familiar with either, they're sites where you join and have access to discounted clothing. This was my first purchase on Tobi, so the dress came out to $18 and the pants came out to $30 with the 50% off. If you decide to join, please use my referral link so I can get another 50% off. :) They shipped from Brisbane, CA, to my hometown overnight! Granted, my hometown is only about 1.5 hours away, but I was really happy with the speed. I didn't spend the $75 for free shipping, but their base price for shipping was only $4.95 (most places charge $7-9 and upward).

This is the Feeling Cami Shift Dress in White. I'm usually an XS/S in dresses, but this dress, as well as the majority of their items, is only available in S/M/L. I think I'm going to wear this belted most of the time, as it kind of looks like a slip dress without a belt. This dress is chiffon and lined. It hits me mid-thigh.

These are the Rosalinda Skinny Pants in Pink and Blue. They come in a lovely floral print and with a 27.5" inseam (they also have a skirt in a similar print). This pair unfortunately only ran in general sizes S/M/L, but I took a risk because I liked the print. Unfortunately, the small was way too tight for me! I couldn't get it up past my thighs. :( The quality and material seemed a little cheap; just tugging a bit on the belt loops seemed to loosen the threading.

Victoria's Secret
I love collecting cute bikini pieces! This is the Ruffle-trim Triangle Top in White. The top is made of your regular spandex/nylon mix with a chiffon (?) ruffle trim. I opted for a plain white pair of bottoms because I didn't like the bottoms featured in the set. I got an XS/XS set, but I found the bottoms a tad too small for me. I don't think the bikini flatters my chest well, but oh well, it's cute so I'm keeping it anyway.

Above is the Beach Sexy Triangle Top and Double String Bottom in White Floral. I didn't actually purchase the bottoms, but my sister did so I included them in the picture. The bikini has lilac strings. I thought the print was cute, but I wasn't in love with it, so I returned it.

Thrift
I grabbed these interesting painted cat earrings for $1.99 at the thrift store in my home town. I sanitized and cleaned them for use. I'm not sure what I'll pair them with yet!
